Who these terms apply to?

These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between the ticket purchaser (“Customer”) and the organizer of Afro Summer Jam (“Organizer”).

The Organizer reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The version valid at the time of ticket purchase applies.

We recommend reviewing these terms before attending the festival.

Ticket Purchase & Agreement

When you purchase a ticket, you enter into a legally binding agreement with the Organizer.

Tickets must be purchased through official and authorized sales channels only. This helps ensure that your ticket is valid and protects you from fraud or invalid resales.

Commercial resale of tickets (e.g. reselling for profit) is not allowed without prior written approval.

Tickets are generally non-refundable. Exceptions only apply where required by law or explicitly stated in these Terms & Conditions.

Always make sure you are purchasing from a trusted and official source.

Access to the festival

Entry to Afro Summer Jam is only permitted with a valid ticket.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment, the Organizer reserves the right to deny entry or remove individuals from the festival without refund in cases such as:

• violation of these Terms & Conditions
• illegal or disruptive behavior
• situations that may pose a safety risk

Security checks, including bag checks, may be carried out at entry points. These measures are in place to protect all visitors and ensure a smooth festival experience.

Changes to the event

Afro Summer Jam is a live event, and certain changes may occur.

The Organizer may adjust the lineup, schedule, venue, or program if necessary.

If the event is postponed, tickets remain valid for the new date. Refunds are only issued where legally required or explicitly communicated.

Situations beyond our control such as weather conditions, safety concerns, or governmental regulations may also lead to changes without liability.

We always aim to deliver the best possible experience, even when adjustments are needed.

Responsibility and risk

Attendance at Afro Summer Jam is at your own risk.

The Organizer is only liable for damages caused by intentional actions or gross negligence.

The Organizer is not responsible for:

• lost or stolen personal belongings
• personal injuries that are not caused by the Organizer

We recommend keeping personal items secure and staying aware of your surroundings.

Keeping everyone safe

All visitors are expected to follow safety instructions from festival staff, security, and medical teams at all times.

In case of an emergency, please follow the guidance provided on-site and allow staff to coordinate assistance.

The Organizer may introduce safety measures, access restrictions, or capacity limits when necessary to protect visitors and ensure a safe environment.

These measures help keep Afro Summer Jam safe, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone.

What is not allowed?

To ensure a safe and respectful festival environment, certain items and behaviors are not permitted.

The following are strictly prohibited:

• weapons or dangerous objects
• illegal substances
• fireworks or explosive materials
• your own food (food for toddlers is allowed)
• unauthorized recording equipment for commercial use

In addition, disruptive, unsafe, or discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated.

Visitors who do not respect these rules may be removed from the festival without refund.

These guidelines help create a positive experience for all guests.

Photography and recording

By purchasing a ticket and attending Afro Summer Jam, you agree to being photographed, filmed, and recorded within the festival area.

The Organizer and authorized partners may use this content for:

• marketing and promotional campaigns
• social media, website, and press
• future event promotion

This consent is granted without compensation and applies worldwide and without time limitation.

If you prefer not to appear in certain recordings, please contact staff on site where possible.
